Proposed modifications, from highest to lowest priority (suggesting extras so I have options if some don't work out):

  • Add variable jump height to the player controller.
  • SLOPES. Classic, physics-violating slopes that you can walk up and down without changing speed. I've implemented these a couple times in bespoke collision systems, but I'm very interested to see if kinematic contacts will enable me to do this in native Unity physics.
    • Also, slope tiles.
    • If I can't get these to work in time, at least the player collider's already a capsule, right?
  • Design a level.
  • Possibly add gunplay? Use the orbs as targets?
  • If there's time, replace sounds with custom work.
  • If there's time, possibly custom music?
